Start with a photo you want to recognize in the result. Choose a drawing style and describe what should stay the same, then upload the photo in the editor.
From photograph to drawing
1. Choose a clear reference
Use one well-lit photo where the subject is easy to distinguish. Avoid tiny faces, heavy blur and screenshots containing unrelated interface elements.
2. Name the details that matter
For a portrait, describe the expression and pose. For a pet, specify its markings. For a building, identify the windows and outline you want to keep.
3. Upload, generate and compare
Upload the original in edit mode, review the settings and generate. Compare the result with your original before downloading, and revise the prompt if important details changed.

Uploading a reference photo and generating require signing in. The editor shows the credit cost for the selected model and settings. This page does not promise unlimited free generation.
How is this different from generating a new illustration?
Photo-to-drawing starts from an uploaded reference in edit mode. If you want an entirely new scene from words, use the image generator instead.
